BOB DYLAN - "LIKE A ROLLING STONE" (I)
"It was [originally] ten pages long. It wasn't called anything, just a rhythm thing on paper all about my steady hatred directed at some point that was honest. (...) I never thought of it as a song, until one day I was at the piano, and on the paper it was singing 'How does it feel?' in a slow motion pace... It was like in your eyesight you see your victim swimming in lava... in the pain they were bound to meet up with. I wrote it. I didn't fail. It was straight". (Bob Dylan, in Revolution In The Air - The Songs Of Bob Dylan, Vol. 1: 1957-73, de Clinton Heylin)
